The one two blocks from my house changed hands. The previous owner was good in the really old days, like 20 years ago, they made the performance exhaust fit on my 900, and did good work unless the work required old Saab parts. New owners created doubts in my mind. Don't know stuff like if you change water pump on a 9-3 you also replace the plumbing, because getting to the parts is such a big job, and some other diagnostics left me scratching my head. Old Saab specialist now has new owners, and they do a lot of other brands. I've been taking my car to them, although it's a couple of miles, not a couple of blocks. But it's in the city and I can take public transportation to work, so it's not a hard decision. Ran an indie shop myself in college, but that was long ago enough there were no computers (technically, there was one computer, in the basement of the college library).
