Thanks! I've been lurking around the Trailblazers forums. Found tons of useful info, but still hope to make sure it is all 9-7x specific. My problem is likely either the wiring entering into the hatch or the control module in the hatch. It seems to be a semi-common failure point. But everyone seems to have slightly different symptoms. So not 100% sure this is the problem until I fix it. I think a Tech 2 is in my future. I looked at the 4.2 but once I had my sights set on a 9-7x I had to have the Aero. Might as well have the rare one. It's like a mix between an old muscle car (had a couple back in the day) and a Saab. Thanks for responding. Good to know the 9-7x is welcome here.
