Yes sir, and welcome. That LS2 engine is definitely a beast, and a quality choice. The Tech2 is nice to have, but I find GM does not give really a lot of programming options compared to what is available with the Tech2 and the new generation Saab chassis.

Until you find your Tech2 you might want to investigate behind the panel on the tail gate to look for water ingress. I notice on mine it seems to get wet a lot. I've had to replace a couple lock mechanisms on the front doors because of moisture causing electric locking failures.
