I'm trying to figure out what to do with 3 Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10 tires, only three years old, plenty of tread left. I would never have bought these tires because I'm too frugal, but they came on the car when I bought it. Near the end of last winter, I noticed a bulge in the sidewall of the 4th tire. I switched over to my all season tires, and am now unable to decide what to do. In an ideal world, I'd find a used replacement of similar age. I've looked high and low, and that's not likely to happen. My other options:
1. buy a brand new Hakka 10 (not fond of this idea, because even though it's the same model, the age and tread depth difference is going to make it perform differently
2. buy a pair of new Hakka 10 (I'm less concerned about wear and age difference if they're a matched pair, but now I'm up near the price of a set of 4 new Blizzak tires, and I'm not convinced the Hakkas are that much better, and way beyond the price of a set of lightly used high-end winter tires)
3. Just check the whole set of Hakkas, and try to forget about them. Then buy a full set of whatever good option I can find, either lightly used or brand new. I'm having a hard time with this option, even though it's probably the best combination of performance and cost. It's just hard to throw away three superb tires. I could try to sell them, but I think the market for 3 tires is virtually nil.

Just looking for other opinions.
