I'm really big into finding the best CASH back credit cards to use. I do use the Amazon Prime credit card for all of my Amazon and Whole Foods purchases which give me a huge 5% cash back bonus - actually 6% if you choose Amazon Day delivery. 120 day purchase protection against damage or theft up to $500 per claim. No foreign transaction fees outside the US. No annual fee, but you must be an Amazon Prime member.
I would use it for gas stations (2%), but my 2025 Kia Niro Wind uses my 55 roof solar panels instead of gas. You can read about my Kia Niro Wind deal on the Other Cars BB here:

I do use it at restaurants which give 2%, but I use a different card for other online purchases and other regular purchases because the Amazon card drops to 1% for those. I really don't like rotating categories, so my other card I use is a flat rate 2% cash back on all purchases and my other online purchases card is 3%.
