Have you ever known a Honda owner who had "nothing but problems?" Most of
the build quality & fit/finish on a new car is done at the engineering
level, not on the assembly line. Especially in today's world of advanced
robotics.

There is no evidence that a Honda, Toyota or Nissan made in the USA is
inferior to a Japanese made car. In fact, the Honda plant in Marion, OH
has been cited by J.D. Power several times as the finest production plant
in the World.

I agree that the UAW has had a spotty record in the past. In fact, in the
70's it was horrible throughout Ford, GM & Chrysler. My only problem with
that argumentis German unions are even more powerful than American unions.
I saw the other day the avg. VW worker makes $60 an hour if you add in all
benefits. plus, Germany shuts down a month every year for a tradional
vacation. I sell surgical instruments for a living & we have to be sure
inventories are up during the off month in Tuttlingen. That is one of the
reasons VW has moved so much production to Mexico.
