The Dallas North Tollway and I635. What the hell is up with that? To go North on the Tollway from East on LBJ, one must cut between traffic heading from North on the Tollway to 635. Once that is done, one must make a wide sweeping U-turn and then cut onto the Tollway where your lane promptly ends. A terrible, terrible design.
I'd agree. Dallas drivers are horrible. But it's mostly due to the fact that this city was so poorly laid out. For a city designed for cars (unlike, say, Boston or DC, which were designed for horses), Dallas is horrible.
I'd say that the Worst Roads award goes to Detroit. Harsh winters just kill their roads. Yeeowch.
BTW, how many of us here on the forum are from Dallas?
