getting my middle muffler replaced with a straight pipe when i noticed a innocent-looking CRX in the next bay with later model Honda alloys and larger exhaust. when i asked the tech about the car he opened the hood for me. the owner had somehow shoe-horned a Prelude VTEC motor (2 liter?) into the tiny engine bay. it was in getting exhaust work too. but the thing was a total sleeper with nothing but the larger exhaust pipe hinting at power. turns out the whole thing was modified, tranny, suspension, engine internals etc. the tech took it out while i was still there and it went like a scalded cat. I only consider cars rice-burners when they're all show and no go, this car was definitely all go.
