I am sure about older models, i dont know about brand new model year airplanes. Maybe the aviation industry has been instructed the same from the gov to switch but since airplanes are normally in service for about 40 yrs its going to take a good long while to have a complete switch. I was in shock whgen I found out that all Boeings out there were in done in american measurment. And since Airbus is the only major co. to manufacture Airliners in europe they are the only airplanes in metric that are on the ramp these days, let me tell you all the A&P's had a fit when they had to go buy a bunch of tools they thought were unecessary.
