Rob...
I would consider 85K to be mid-life mileage for a Honda or Toyota. Of course you never know what you're getting so you may want to have Toyota run a thorough check (e.g. compression check) on the car, depending on your comfort level. My previous car was a 4 cyl 90 Accord, which I sold after 11 years with 200k on it. It had nothing wrong with it aside from the usual Honda rust around the rear wheel wells...and I mean nothing..
Once a car gets at that age/mileage (5-7 yrs), there are some parts that may be due for replacement, which I would definitely inspect with a close eye. Take a good look and ask about the shocks, CV boots, timing belt, rotors, exhaust/converter, radiator, and water pump.
I bought a 92 corolla wagon about 2 yrs ago with 140k on it... ran into the normal brake stuff.. and just put a new clutch in it.. but the engine and everything else is otherwise fine... Good luck...
