I tend to agree with Noel about getting the Saab fixed. I'm a bit dubious with some of you repair diagnoses as well. A car rarely "needs" new shocks, and C900s don't even have struts. I imagine you don't need all four calipers, and they are fairly cheap and easy to install if you do need a pair. And who needs a e-brake in a manual trans car anyway? Seriously, that should not be hard to fix either.
If you do sell, I'd lean towards the Civic. It would be the most fun to drive and economical. I don't like Civics on principle, but they are good car. The Volvo won't be much fun and the Benz is expensive to repair, though they are tanks and have a very loyal following. Of course there's no gaurentee that any used car won't need lots of work in a couple months too.
Just my two cents.
