I test drove the 86 Legend when it first came out. The sales folks were pronouncing it as "Ah-coora" at the dealer, and insisting that at list price the car was a super buy, as it would rapidly appreciate once the market discovered how good they were. If I recall it had a V6 making 160 horses and a weak 160 ft lbs of torque, and the whole car struck me as bland.
The next day I went to the Saab dealer and closed on the also all new 86 9000T, I think I got it for around 21K, with leather, sunroof, etc. No comparison between the cars in driving experience and torque, as the 9000T made it's 28 ft lbs torque advantage seem more like 60 ft lbs, except of course in hot summer weather with the AC cycling.
I'd go for an Infiniti anytime over an Ah-coora.
