Original and Rodded-up cars from the 30s and 40s are seeing many of their fans die off, or sell off, at an alarming rate. I have seen articles saying cars from that era are experiencing rapid drops in value due to lack of interest in younger car enthusiasts.

I completely agree that interest in cars seems to be locked into an individual's tastes when they were in their teens and twenties. My favorites are cars from the 60s and 70s with excursions into the bordering decades for sports cars or unusual/rare cars only.
