I don't think anything does, the Wrangler is pretty much unique . I had a friend who lived in Cheyenne WY and he loved his Rubicon and drove it to Denver to visit me with his GF . So the next time he came down it was in his GF KIA Spectra or some sub compact, I asked where was the Rubicon and one trip was enough for the GF, the harsh ride had wore her out.
Pickups can't do what a Wrangler is capable of - the longer wheelbase limits them but I've seen some jacked up trucks with big knobby tires get to some pretty remote off road spots, like where I go hunting and you can carry a bunch of gear in them.
