And why I am trying to replace the other aged sudden death items from the car. Miles are high at 183K but not unreasonable, and were mostly easy expressway driving.

Thorough car examination by Dealer last year revealed only the steering rack; with a recommendation that he keep an eye on fluid loss and to have it replaced with a rebuilt rack by an independent garage when necessary rather than at the Dealership where they are required to use only new parts.
