Most of our drives are short 3-8 miles with the midweek longest at 12-miles. I can charge at work so the 30-40 miles of EV range is plenty. On longer drives the CT6 plug-in with battery depleted will see about 35 mpg highway and 40 mpg. That is 335 hp 432 trq when combined with 2.0T or more than any Lexus Hybrid that doesn't have a buzz-bomb 2.5l and half the power.
We will lease again in the fall and will be looking at XC90 T8 PHEV, Lincoln Aviator GT PHEV, or a Pacifica Pinnacle PHEV to add to the CT6E. The Pacifica PHEV has 30 miles of range vs about 20 miles in the XC90 and Aviator, but don't know if I could get my wife passed the minivan stigma.
