Interesting list, Randy, and congratulations on your new ride.
One of the nice things about driving Saabs was the unicorn aspect. We get a very similar experience with my wife's '20 BMW Z4 (which we also bought lightly used - 7 months old and 4K miles) - not many around, people wave and flash lights at each other. The ZF8 in that car is a fabulous transmission. It's also an indication of how far internal combustion vehicles have come - great performance (0 - 60 upper 5's, 150 mph top end [which we haven't verified] but gets low 40s mpg at 70 mph).
I replaced my '07 9-3 SC with a '23 Hyunday I5 and thought I was getting another unicorn. Dealers had just stopped adding $10K ADM to MSRP and there were almost none on the road. Now they're everywhere.
BTW, in the SF Bay Area, that Mazda red metallic is known as "mid-life crisis red."
