I have been toying with the same idea to manage miles across 2 cars - for me I would get a Viggen convertible or coupe. I would probably get a CV for a 2 seater to multiply the fun. I looked at a Z3 M version which I really liked - great little car with tons of power - the coupe version is a bit odd looking IMO, but seems to hold value - not a bad purchase if you like the looks.
The 350Z is boring. The S2000 has some serious pep - especially in high RPMs. Fun to drive, but the Japanese cars seem to lack character.
So if it were me based on your choices I would go BMW.
