I'm back from Mobile in the 3. This is not a road car in the sense that a 9000 is...but them what NEW is?? It is nice to travel to no Saab country in a new non-Saab...its a long tow from Mobile!!
PROS
2.3 4 cyclinder is super smooth and completely vibration free!
car feels good on the highway..seems heavy and very much like a c900
seats and driving position excellent for a small car...no fatique
audio system (Bose 225w) and all controls WONDERFUL!
auto wipers/headlights worked as promised...love those HID lights
CONS
NO TURBO...really miss the bigT!
29.25 mpg one way/ 26.5 other (rain?) avg speed 78mph...similar to my big 9000!?! May improve with age..only 1900miles sofar.
Overall this is a great 20+k car. It makes a better around town car than a road car (25 avg in town)..but works ok for 1 or 2 people. I still MUCH prefer to drive my 14 YO 9000...wish I could get a new one!
Hope this helps...try one yourself, and let me know what you think.
