Can't believe I'm saying this, but I think the move to the turbo engine is a good one. It'll give the SS more cred with its target market, and it isn't alone. Both BMW and MB announced a bit back they're moving away from superchargers (in the MINI and AMG) and moving to turbos. I think the old bad publicity of turbos has finally disappeared in the eyes of the mfgs, and modern turbo technology makes for very drivable cars. I think the move away from superchargers is gonna be pretty universal. And, this will surely save GM some money... which they can't do enough of these days...
