I have been thinking about it. I really want something I can abuse. I used to do a lot of off roading, not rock crawling, but some pretty seriuos stuff. I used to have an Isuzu truck (chevy colorado), 4wd, lifted with lockers front and rear, and it did most of the stuff I wanted to do. And that's what I really want but with the ability to also put a few car seats in it at the same time, I was thinking of getting something cheap and used to be a stop gap as a 2nd car till I could afford what I really want, and could do about 60% of what I want it to actually do. But I don't think that's a good Idea. I will regret it I think and just spend all my time wishing I had waited and bought what I really want. So i think I'll hold out until I can pay cash for my 4door wrangler. having a 2nd car is far from a necessity, My wife and I have been fine with 1 for 6 months. and another year or two won't kill us, just be annoying. and she would have the wrangler at home with her if she wanted/ needed it, and I'll just put the miles on my saab. The wife is all about the wrangler too, so it wouldn't be a hard sale, she misses my truck almost as much as I do.
