I would avoid the car that needs the bodywork at almost any cost. BTDT with an Alfa Spider: you will find more rust than you think there is, and finding someone to fix it properly will not work out economically until MGs are worth really big bux (not happening any time soon). An engine rebuild will be a max of $3K, probably less (may just need top end work or nothing!).
