Pretty sure BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, and Infiniti offer AWD on many of their higher end cars too, but I don't know for certain what the story there is. I did not include anything that has conventional "no center diff" 4WD, like pickups and big SUVs, not anything obscene like Veyrons or FFs. ;)
All of these save maybe the Golf R and the SX4 should be able to carry to backseat adults with fair comfort. If that's your only criteria, you still have like 77 models to choose from. :)
