Car buying? Timing

I have an 03 aero with 135k miles that I put in a used transmission 20k ago that is also paid off. I have an 2009 Honda odyssey EX-L with 90k miles which will be paid off in May of this year. I only always want to have just one car payment. However, I am happy with the Saab but my wife thinks it will need further repair in the next few years and doesn't want to sink money into it. She will probably need a new car soon with her Ody getting up on miles. So I am kind of unsure of what to do? get rid of the saab and get a new car? She really likes to have a newer car so there is some warranty left to help cover any upfront costs of major repair if they are needed. Suggestions?
