... only not so much from the breaking things POV (money can solve anything, even if the solutions would have to be bespoke) but from a driveability perspective. If you want to have a 500 bhp c900 just because you can, for putting on a show and burnouts, more power to you - it will probably cost more han a 1,000 bhp Skyline and not even turn as many heads, but hey, we all like different things and I for one will applaud you for putting your money where your mouth is and doing something suitably off the wall
If you *drive* your car on road and track, fast, and care about the total dynamic package - 300 bhp is enough for a FWD car of this size, weight and intentions, really (of course, you could go for super long gearing and chase a 200 mph top speed, but given that the car features a windshield fitted in rubber for example, 150-160 mph is enough, thanks). And much above 300 hp the mismatch of a 2.0 (ish) litre, low compression engine and the turbocharger needed to make that kind of power will become very obvious, indeed, to the point that in real world conditions a properly engineered car with much less power will be faster.
How good you can make 300 (flywheel) bhp on the front wheels work depends on lots of things - although hitting the numbers might not be that expensive, proper solutions will be.
