My SPG is complete & obviously when I had the autronic ECU (quite a bit better then megasquirt) I had a 3 in mandrel system made with external wg dumped to the atmosphere. That car is complete except for interior stuff. The header also did not cost me $1,000 but $725 shipped from Finland.
The exhaust is for my viggen. I have always wanted mandrel however this guy who has a 9sec street legal drag car states it's not needed unless on very high power stuff. He also is more then willing to make a mandrel cat-back for me if that's what I want.
Thus I am curious if it's needed on a car-back system because the important part is the downpipe. I also do not plan on modding this car a lot :(
