I have a stock 06 9-5 Aero (Sport Pkg) with a slush box. I recently got a sluggish acceleration problem mostly fixed. The remaining issue seems to be heat soak. Search my user id on the 9-5 board and look for "SAGA"

JAK, Nick and others,
You build the hell out of these engines. What are the best methods in a 9-5 to keep it cool under the hood in TX summers? I would consider extra fans, but misting the IC seems absurd in a $42K car. I am not looking for anything beyond what the car should do. Between this and the other saab centric site, there are lots of folks having the issue.

Note to Scott: Just saying the name of the other site is not a link, but this software seems to think so....hope that's a glitch and not paranoia LOL


Why only this SAAB? Never had it this bad in my 9K, OG 9-3 vert, or 06 9-3 wagon.
