As I recall, the area formula is TT (pi) times radius squared. So, 3.14 time 52mm divided by 2 ( squared ) then divided by 25.4 for inches squared yielding:
Saab TB at approx 3.2 inches square.
The engine ( 2.0 liter ) CFM at 6000 RPM is 210 CFM. Lots of different kinds of fruit going on here.....of course that is for free flow without losses figured in....
