OK -- just to make sure I am on the same page -- ebay item 190242302825 shows the throttle body (bottom) of the 4412 showing 2 throttle plates. What is the diameter of each of the plates.....is that the 1 11/16" EACH that you are referring to? Since there are two holes, the total area would be each hole's area added together far exceeding the square area of the stock Saab throttle body.
Go ahead and take a 4412 throttle body, and adapt it to the Saab intake -- you will increase the square area when compared to the stock Saab intake. I think you get the point, and if the tech guys don't, then they are beyond help. After all, it is a STOCK FI throttle body......
