I'm building out a 2.3 head (actually, I just ordered it yesterday) to mate with a 2.1 intake for my 1990 spg. I was going to pull the cams and send them to Crower to get reground, but I'm wondering if I should start with the 2.0 or 2.3 cams. Does it matter since they're going to be reground? I've heard something about the 2.3 cams needing a groove for the distributer. What's the deal with this?
Thanks, -Dan
