I thought the stock fuel reg keeps fuel pressure a fixed amount over boost pressure? IF you kept fuel pressure fixed, the pressure difference between the input and output of the injectors would decrease as the boost went up. It seems like the injectors wouldn't work as well that way. Maybe the software is set up to overcome that? ONe benefit to going to a standard regulator is you lessen the max fuel system pressure and wear and tear on the pump over time. I'm glad someone is pioneering an ecu install!
