SAABOTR and the joys of driving

I have decided that Joy is...
...a nicely sorted out c900, suspension wise.
I just came back from another short shakedown drive in SAABOTR. I must say conclusively that I am in love with the SAS rear sway bar combined with stock front bar (albeit with poly bushings inner and outer). The SAS bar comes with poly too. This is with new Abbott springs and Konis set more stiff than soft, but not stiff all the way. I point, it turns, simple as that. No hint of understeer - at least not yet. I need to get the speed up, but so far it's fantastic.
I'm also readjusting to how low my Sparcos sit. Big change after driving a stock 88 9kT for a year!
I still need to sort out a few issues that have crept up. I have a small coolant leak which I THINK is due to my deletion of the throttle body de-icing hose - the rubber caps I have on there may be the culprit. Thus the short drives to see what's what.
I'm also getting a boost leak. I think the o-ring on my HKS BOV has had it, as it's quite noticeable around there.
More tranny thoughts, for those who ask: the short shifter completely changes the car. No longer are you driving a c900, it is something else entirely. How did I ever do without it? I said it before, and I will say it again - Jorgen Eriksson is God. It's not a night and day difference, it is much more than that, like heaven and hell, it shifts with rifle bolt conviction, I shit you not!
As for tranny gearing...I have to relearn how to drive this car. I bog when starting, this is not something you get with the stock gearing, really. Likely this has something to do with my Swedish Dynamics aluminum flywheel. However, the SD kevlar disc is quite cool - feels like stock! Nay, lighter than stock. Thanks to Gary Konow and the SD guys!
