Forge makes both a Blow-Off Valve (which I can't use on my 9-3 due to the engine mgmt problems it creates) & a Diverter Valve (which is what the stock Bosch unit is). I thought the Hyper only came in a DV model?

If you're looking at DVs, here's what I've learned:
The Forge (model 007P) is closest to stock in both size & appearance, with the Hyper being a bit larger in diameter & much more noticeable with its finned design. If space is tight, the Forge may fit better w/o any fins to rub against things.
The Forge has a plain aluminum piston, while the Hyper has a Teflon treatment applied to the piston's surface. It's been theorized that this treatment may allow the Hyper to work better when cold, but no tests have been done (that I could find). I think this treatment may be a benefit if you don't service the valve often enough (allowing the piston to run "dry"). I also think that, due to the nature of Teflon, any grease would not want to stay on it as well as an untreated surface.
Both use Mobil 1 grease & seal with multiple Viton-rubber O-rings.
Both can be ordered with stronger springs.
Both have excellent reputations.
The Forge is just a bit less expensive if you buy directly from Forge Motorsport, but not enough to warrant buying it if you really like the features of the Hyper.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot: Forge also sells a "Race" version using a diaphragm instead of a piston (quicker response due to virtually no mass to move compared to a piston). It's a bit more expensive, but it comes with a selection of 4 different strength springs & 2 spare diaphragms for rebuilding.
