Glad to see that your T5 car is running now too! I was quite worried when I read your post about smoke coming from the ECU! I too had a no-start issue that was eventually traced to the lack of a ground strap from the tranny to the chassis. Doh!
SDS can run open or closed loop, I'm usually in open. So no issues just removing the sensor, plugging in the wideband, and off we went. Hell, even the wideband's power and ground was easy to do, what with my battery in the trunk.
I lengthened the rod today, but still getting lots and lots of boost. Going to play with it some more tomorrow, hopefully get things under control. Also wondering if perhaps there is some way to test the GReddy's solenoid, so I'll have to call them. Ahh..but the sound of the turbo whistling... :)
