I think it helps. Best gas you can get in Colorado is 91, most cars get by fine, less air=less effective compression. I get full boost up to about 10,000ft, so my car needs a little more. Been using a litre to a tank (919k's have only a 12gal tank). Put a litre in yesterday on a 1/4 tank and did not then fill it up. About the ratio Dean used in his example. Labor day here has a huge Harley rally, theres 30,000 of 'em, needless to say an old guy in sedan can get away with about anything on the open road, the cops are a little busy. Yesterday was fun, and I think it holds higher boost better. Mixed in 2 oz's of 2 cycle oil instead of ATF, and now it smells like a chainsaw.
I have come around from my years old posting, (see below), but the pilot light reference is still valid.
