To confirm this: Most ECU programs leave the turbo boost indicator as it was. So when on boost in 3rd gear, you would expect to see the boost indicator well into the red zone witg the higher boost pressure and air flow rates. All Saabs in factory configuration seem to have full boost indicate at the beginning of the red. So on boost in 3rd gear and up your boost indicator is into the red, then its definantly modified.
Check the air filter, you should be running a JR or K&N filter with a modified ECU. And do you have a stainless steel sports exhaust or stock? You should run BPCR7ES11 plugs with a modified ECU. And you will need to run premium fuels.
Sounds like Viggen power.
