This was happening as well on my 9-5 and was also an indicator that I had dialed up too much. I could tell there was something different going on with the boost but could not tell what exactly it was. Dialed up, It was making my BPV flutter when off the throttle. Not sure why this was happening. Dialed down it did not affect the BPV but intake sounded deeper until the BPC started to get a signal. With and without SMBC installed the boost came on at the same RPM. Peak boost spiked slightly above where it peaked without the SMBC but then soon tripped the TB. When dialed down enough to prevent this, the peak boost was no higher than stock. I am sure something is going on and different with the SMBC installed but could not tell what that difference was. Boost did not come on sooner regardless of how SMBC was tuned. Peak boost was same when adjusted properly and only spiked when dialed up too high. I am still willing to try and make this thing work but at this point I am having a hard time seeing any benefit as I expected boost to come on sooner in the RPM's representing an elimination of BPC induced delay. Jeff thank you again for the assistance and discussion. I really want to get to the bottom of this.
