Hello there,
Well, i think you are dead on there, there is a mismatch of ignition and fuel related components.... now i just need to figure out WHAT.
Since i'm back to the stock ECU and DI/APC chips with no check engine light, i'm assuming that the computers are ok now... but they still might be screwy themselves... somehow... i won't rule that out completely considering my past problems...
i'm going to try and return the BPC and see if i can get my hands on a real working one....
what else could be mismatched? di cassette going bad? there are no misfires... hmmm....
If the spark plugs were wrong, i'd have a lot of other problems wouldn't i? especidally if they were the non-resistor type right? non-resistor would fry the DI cassette... JAK you had mentioned that i shouldn't use resistor if i want performance, but i think from what i've heard i am totally limited to them because of the DI cassette....
...anyways... thank you for your post...
