I fitted a JT 3" DP and back system this summer. Came via speedparts and was a horror show that only speedparts seems to be able to pull off.

With that, eventually, as a single change, I have a lot more power/torque. It sounds quite quiet when on the throttle, but is not quiet at idle. When the engine is cold it is very boomy, especially in a garage. After the engine is warm, it is much improved. After using it for a while, the mufflers may be working better as something changes with the packing. I would never recommend this as a self install! Needs an experienced muffler man with custom experience to make fittment adjustments. Mine needed a torque to move a hanger, more than that should have been done and one pipe was 1.0 - 1.25" inches too long and had to be cut with an abrasive wheel. Pipe cutters would not touch it. And the above does not include what was wrong with the kit. But Nick really worked to get things right.

It has two glass pack type muflers in it. These are of the drilled or perforated tube type, not louvered (which is good). I got the all stainless system.

I have a K&N replacement element, a metal BPV and a SMBC. Without changing the SMBC my tires overpower the pavement (1st and 2nd) under many situations. It did not do that prior to the exhaust change.

Tried to install a big speedparts IC, to many manufacturing defects to complete the install, stock IC put back. Another speedparts disaster! (boo)
