i had two cars tuned by frank last year at automotion. well worth it $895.00 T7 9-5 aero and $500-$600 for a T5 900. I believe T7 tuning went up a bit though. T5 cars are pretty straight forward as far as software is concerned and he tunes them in no time. my T7 was a pain in the ass but he would not release the car until he was satisfied with the way it was running. first paul k. (automotion) takes your car for a base line run, making sure it is at least running up to stock specification. he then removes the ecu, gives it to frank to tune, reinstalls the ecu and then takes it for another ride. if he comes back smiling, you are done. if not, time to troubleshoot. the new programming exposes any weaknesses/ deficiencies in BPC valves and/or DI racks and most older cars require one or the other. i ended up having to replace the bpc valve in the t5 car and it turned into a rocketship after installing a new valve. the T7 ECU was programmed at least 5 times until it was right and was also well worth the wait. no dyno present but the ride home was validation of money well spent.
