Wow! Thanks for the info. Thats more than I ever expected to get back on this subject. That blue sonett came out nice. Putting the motor in the trunk is a good option and one that I strongly consider. As for the body work, my goal is to keep it as stock looking as possible. Its funny you should mention the datsun and opel. The 280z has been on my list since I was very young. My first cars were all SAABs (83&86 900's). During that time, for some reason, I fell in love with SAABs. I was on a ski trip when I was 17 years old at a rented house that had a saab history book out on the coffe table. Thats when I saw the sonett for the first time. After that the 280z took a back seat to the saab. As for the opel, I just dont like it that much compared to the sonett. I wish I did, but that would be too easy. I know most of my ideas are pretty stupid but it seems I havent learned my lesson yet. Thanks again for the info, this is a nice site.
