Hi I fitted a pair of pusher fans on mine. My car has air con and did have an old pusher. I fitted a temp sensor into the upper hose. The fans are the standard aftermarket ones and I used the plastic fasteners that came with it rather than the screws. My bearing was fine so I just took th efan off and left the belt driving the pulley. I used a few washers to pack out the gap under the screw. It was lucky as I suffered overheat issues so I put the fan back on. But it wasn't needed as the problem was a too hot a thermostat AND wrong size header cap, system wasn't pressurised.
Good luck
