What initial jets are y'all using on the Weber DGV with a performance engine? We currently have a stock engine in our 1973 Sonett III with a Weber DFV (reverse of the DGV) and we rejetted that according to the Ashcraft schedule. That engine runs really rich despite the smaller jets prescribed by Ashcraft (could be something other than the jetting schedule as the only thing we did to that engine after it sat for 20 years was change the oil, plugs and the manifold and carb! ;-o)

Anyway, we're installing our newly built V4 which is bored 2mm oversized, has the 10:1 Mahle pistons, larger valves and springs in heads from SweedSpeed and a performance cam and 44mm exhaust ports with a 2" dual exhaust. We have a new Weber DGV to go with all this. What should the initial jet schedule be do you think? I'm guessing something bigger than Ashcraft's guidance for a stock engine.
