If you hear the pump, your ignition is on. I would then bypass the
starting function of the switch by using the test connector to crank the
engine. If it cranks this way, the switch has a problem. The attachment
is a .BMP picture of my wife's 82 900 turbo. The two red 14 gauge are in the
+12v and start connectors. they will crank when touched together,
irrespective of ignition. Make certain transmission is in neutral.
