Ron, > I am in need of a auto tranny for my 91 9000CD.
Check with Saab. I think sometime in the last year, Saab has reduced (big time...like $3k to about $1400) the cost of re-built transmissions. I know because I replaced one in my 9000T just before they did so. The Saab units HAVE to be better than the re-builts from the guy down the street. I had to have mine fixed three times...that means I installed it three times! only to find out that it wasn Saab.
Good luck.
