Check Engine Light
Posted by Damon Rogers (more from Damon Rogers) on Tue, 25 Jan 2000 10:50:50
I was test driving a 96 Saab 900S and the check engine light stayed on the hole time. the person selling it said that it was because the battery went dead and they need to reset the computer for the light to go off. Is this true? Would a dead battery even after it was replaced cause the Check engine light to come on and stay on?
