I honestly don't know for sure, but that doesn't sound logical. Like you
said, if you remove the battery, usually everything gets reset. But, as I'm
sure you know, people selling a car will tell you ANYTHING to get rid out
it. There's most likely a problem with the car. Could be a $5 fix,,,,
could be a $5000 fix, who knows. But it sure seems like there is something
wrong with the car.
