I have had very few problems with my 06 ARC vert. A really great car overall even with the less than total confidence one gets when driving a new SAAB due to overall poor reliability reports but I have never been stranded, close but not yet.
Only issue I find a bit perplexing is when lowering the top on a hot day using the fully automatic feature of pressing the remote or using the top down button on the dash the rear windows will shudder as they go down like they are straining. Dealer looked at this problem many times, couldn't duplicate the problem or when they did lubed them up and basically sprayed lube on the glass that was a pain to clean.
What I have found is if upon entering the car I use the rear window door buttons to lower the rear windows they don't shudder as they lower, they do sdown smooth as silk, so I suspect given the general multifunction of the mechanism when lowering with the dash control switch or remote the micro switches that engage to lower the windows are not fully engaging. But they were never able to resolve this and the car is now out of warranty so you learn to live with it.
A great car overall
