Only tools I could find at normal stores has the 3/8 square lined up straight with the long handle. I need it to be 45-degree diagonal. I'll have to look for one that can adjust it's position.
The makeshift tool for today was a carpenter's clamp, squeezing together the tensioner arm & the blocky part of the engine mount.
I got the belt off & found that the AC pulley is a bit loose. It rattles with about the same kind of sound as the clattering I hear. It's not a plastic pulley like the tensioner, but I probably shouldn't ignore it for long.
Can the compressor clutch/pulley be replaced off the front of the compressor? Without discharging & recharging the refrigerant?
As always, THANK YOU Anders. I appreciate you sharing the knowledge.
