Yeah, the depreciation is pretty dismal...My reason for considering the Saab was because I wanted a unique car since I have driven Audi, VW, BMW, MB and as you probably know too, they are LOTS of these makes on the street(at least on Vancouver and Toronto steets) I know it's not a good reason to buy a car but....

I also have collected GM points for a few years now and don't really want to throw them away...

Anyway, I like the 95 in both bodies and despite some issues I have read on this bulletin, am still thinking about it seriously.

The Aero Wagon was very comfortable. In everyway a luxury car, with all that leather and wood. The ride was firm not harsh, not as well sorted as the A4 sports suspension set up, better than the 93, nowhere near the 3 series platform. Good enough for me. The pick up was really strong, not razor sharp. It may have been the Auto, but overall the car was great in traffic. (I didn't get it onto the highway) Jumping back into an A4 really made the power of the Aero stand out. There was also more steering response in the Aero. As for finish, the Aero is not a german car...the brand new wagon already had a little rattle and squeak somewhere.

Its really important for you to try it out. You seem to have particular requirements so this is even more important. Is there an Aero sedan in your town? I want to try one out too before I decide. Mayber consult others on this bulletin? I really am not the best source for useful info.

As of this posting, there are no other discounts. The dealer would give me a token grand or two off the price plus the 1700 with the low rate but nothing else...Funny how I am seeing Volvo and other offering some tempting deals. I am currently playing a wait and see game. Please update me if you hear of anything...
